DIY Swiffer Solution (Non-Toxic & All Natural!)
Hey, SBA fam! We hope you're well today... and even better after you learn how to make this awesome and super easy DIY Swiffer solution!
If you've been around here at SBA even a little bit, you know we're not a fan of conventional household cleaners because they're full of very harmful chemicals. We have written about the dangers of conventional household cleaners here and give you great alternatives here, so we encourage you to read these blog posts to understand why making the change to toxin-free cleaners is necessary.
Plus, this DIY will save you time going to the grocery store and money! This is a very affordable and easy homemade household cleaner. Cheap + easy, two of our favorite words!
This Swiffer Solution is safe for plants, animals, kids, and most floor types.
Ingredients + Instructional Video:
- Bring some water to a boil and stick the top of the swiffer bottle into the water for about 20-30 seconds. Then the top will come off easily.
- 1 cup distilled vinegar (I used my DIY citrus infused vinegar)
- 1 cup water
- 2 tbsp. of a castile soap
- 15 - 20 drops of EOs of your choice (check out our EO's here). I like mixing citrus with eucalyptus.
Shake and insert back into Swiffer and spray away!
